We are called to look after orphans and widows as James outlined for us in chapter 1, verse 27. The Mission of this group is to put James 1:27 into practice in our lives and reach out to the orphan in distress, both in our community and around the world. We will be discussing adoption, orphan care, and what a Christian's response should be toward the fatherless. We will be reading a book called "Fields of the Fatherless" by Thomas Davis. If you have ever thought about adoption or being involved in orphan care, this group is for you.
